She is a specialist in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery (Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Surgery for Endometriosis and Ovarian Cysts), Hysteroscopy Surgeries, Colposcopy, and Gynae Cancer Surgeries. Dr Mamta also holds expertise in treating women with menopausal problems and managing high Risk Pregnancies.She was part of the team to have performed the first Robotic Hysterectomy at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2012 and has been instrumental in accomplishing successful program of Robotic surgery in Institute of Robotic Surgery.Dr. Dagar is a member of Royal College of Surgeons which she obtained after her MD. In addition to this, she has received Diploma in Gyne Endoscopic Surgery from Kiel (Germany), and Training in Robotic Surgery from EEC, Paris. She has received her Fellowship from Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FICOG) and Indian College of Maternal and Child Health.
