He has a Fellowship in Reconstructive Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Uro-Oncology from 1996 to 1998.
Dr. Gupta completed his MS in Surgery from Sriram Chandra Bhanj (SCB) Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack in 1996.
He obtained his MBBS degree from Sriram Chandra Bhanj (SCB) Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack in 1991.
Dr. Gupta is a member of professional organizations such as Head & Neck Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Cancer Care/Oncology.
He has received several awards including the ICD Appreciation Award presented by Dr. Donald E. Johnson, ICD International President, USA, in 2008.
In 2017, Dr. Gupta received the Sister Margaret and Swami Vivekanand Award as well as the NGO Leadership Award in Delhi.
