Dr. Pradeep Sharma

Dr. Pradeep Sharma serves as the Senior Consultant cum Chief of Joint Replacement in the Orthopaedic Department at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi.
He has more than 40 years of experience in the field, specializing in primary, revision, and complex surgeries of the hip and knee joints, bringing a wealth of expertise to his practice.
Dr. Sharma’s qualifications include an MBBS obtained in 1973, MS in Orthopaedics in 1977, and MCHC (Ortho) from Liverpool, UK, in 1985.
He has further developed his skills through fellowships in Adult Reconstruction Surgery, Paediatric Orthopaedics, and Arthroplasty.
His areas of interest encompass a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee replacements, joint reconstruction, spine surgery, and total hip replacement.
Dr. Sharma’s expertise covers various techniques such as acetabular fixation, revision hip replacement, minimally invasive hip replacement, and bilateral hip replacement surgery.
He is also adept in managing conditions like Perthes’ disease, lumbosacral fusions, trauma, infections, skeletal issues, tumour resections, and bone grafting techniques.
As a member of the Indian Society of Hip & Knee Surgeons and the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Dr. Sharma remains actively involved in the orthopaedic community.
Throughout his career, he has held significant positions including Chief Coordinator and Senior Consultant at Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, and Visiting Consultant roles at Rockland Hospital and Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj.
