Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gudwani

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gudwani holds the position of Senior Consultant – ENT Surgeon at Epitome Kidney Urology Institute & Lions Hospital in New Delhi.
With a remarkable experience of 24 years in the field, he is a seasoned professional who has played a pioneering role in establishing and leading ENT services in multispecialty tertiary care hospitals.
Dr. Gudwani has not only developed these services but also elevated them into advanced treatment centers, showcasing his commitment to advancing patient care.
He has contributed his expertise in both national and international settings, including hospitals and medical colleges.
While his expertise encompasses Basic ENT, he has a particular interest in Minimal Invasive Nasal and Sinus Surgeries (Endoscopic FESS), as well as Rhinology, which includes specialized procedures such as Aesthetic Surgeries like Rhinoplasties and Facioplastic procedures.
Dr. Gudwani embarked on his medical journey by obtaining his M.B.B.S. from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, India.
He furthered his education by achieving an M.S. (ENT) from Safdarjang Hospital, Delhi University, India, indicating his dedication to specialized training in his field.
As part of his professional development, he also completed an Observership Program at the University Malaya Medical College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, thereby expanding his global perspective and expertise.
Dr. Gudwani’s contributions to the field have been recognized through several awards and honors. Notably, he was awarded the Silver Medal for paper presentations on topics such as “External Rhinoplasty: an approach to Nasal Dorsum” and “External Rhinoplasty” in conferences held by AOI and All Rhinology respectively.
His dedication and excellence in services were also acknowledged when he was honored with the “Penghargan Perkhidmatan Cemerlang” (Award of Excellence) in 2009 by Panel Pembanunan Sumber Manusia (PPSM), JKN Perak Darul Ridzuan.
Dr. Gudwani’s professional interests include performing Minimal Invasive Nasal and Sinus Surgeries through Endoscopic FESS techniques, as well as specialized procedures in Rhinology like Rhinoplasties and Facioplastic procedures.
His contributions extend to his active memberships, including being a Life Member of The Malaysian Society of Otolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons and the Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology. These memberships reflect his engagement with prestigious organizations dedicated to advancing the field of ENT surgery and patient care.
